The circular economy is based on a systemic approach to the entire life cycle and value chain. In particular, it implies that products and materials retain their value for as long as possible, that the use of resources (materials and energy) and the generation of waste are reduced to a minimum, and that when a product reaches the end of its life, its component resources are maintained in the economic cycle so that they can be used again and again to preserve or even recreate value.
The circular economy is therefore about creating or preserving value, which can take many forms.
Whether in the context of circular design and production strategies, optimizing product efficiency and use (extending life and intensifying use), or revalorization (reuse, remanufacturing, reutilization, recycling, etc.), the key is to take a global view of the product cycle, or even the value chain. To do this, you need to ask yourself the right questions and identify the people who can answer them. Once identified/collected/exploited, these answers/information will then become data that will enable you to learn more about your product, its use and its end-of-life, and to choose your circular action levers.
During this webinar, the different circular loops/strategies will be presented, as well as the questions to ask in order to identify the necessary data and the means to find it.
