Whether in design or circular production, in extending a product's lifespan or in upgrading it, digital technologies can play a role. At this workshop, Sirris is offering manufacturing or technology companies the opportunity to consider the interests and opportunities of additive manufacturing within their plant (design and production) but also within their value chain in order to extend the life of their product.

The workshop will combine :

  • A brief review of the concepts of the circular economy and additive manufacturing,

  • A presentation of the potential contribution of additive manufacturing at different stages of a product's life cycle,

  • A tour of Sirris' additive manufacturing facilities at A6k, Examples of Sirris projects combining additive manufacturing and the circular economy,

  • A time for ideation and reflection with the companies present on the opportunities available to them,

  • A reminder of the financial tools and/or calls for projects currently available to help companies take action.

The event will be led by Sirris experts in additive manufacturing and the circular economy. This workshop is part of the CE4.0SMEs project supported by Circular Wallonia and Digital Wallonia's Industrie du Futur Program.
